- B.Sc in Mathematics & Physics, Griffith University, 2007.
Employment
- Lecturer of Applied Mathematics, University of Adelaide, July 2014-present.
- Mathematics Tutor, School of Mathematics & Physics, The University of Queensland, July 2009–December 2013.
- Mathematics Tutor, Department of Mathematics & Statistics, The University of Melbourne, February 2009–May 2009.
- Laboratory Assistant, School of Biomolecular & Physical Sciences, Griffith University, January 2008–August 2008.
Research Interests
- I am interested in stochastic processes and modelling and Markov processes to describe the behaviour and evolution of populations of individuals and populations (metapopulations), epidemics and biological systems.
- I am also interested in dynamical systems and am open to various other fields of applied mathematics.
- My PhD used Markov processes to model metapopulations and determines an appropriate deterministic model, through a (functional) law of large numbers and a (functional) central limit theorem.
